well when im boss fighting , i only look at several areas.. to the middle and right of the Hud... and spell rotations.. thats usually it.. i could probably clean it up more and go with just the hud and get rid of player/target frames.. i got about 3-4 mods that all do about the same.. but u know.. i just like knowing what the hell is going on

i like being told by mods when something is AWRY, like for example, i run both DBM and BIG WIGS, there both boss encounter timers and alerts, I like a big notification when im doing something wrong, <Blue warning, MOVE NOW, Flame Wave, screen shake, loud noises, casting bar, and the list goes on..> as a clothie, i listen, i stay alive more.

those are a majority of my raid mods, i have other stuff like atlasloot enhanced, gearscore, and some other ones.. that help me get into raids, and data mods, but those are the main ones u see on my screen on that pic

A couple questions:

1: Why the hell is polosport so high on the threat meter, but not even in the top 10dps? Does he know he very well might be 'doing it wrong'?

2: Can you disable one of the /range checks? The one of the right from DBM doesn't have a smiley. It's clearly inferior.

3: Have you thought about setting up Clique with your unit frames add-on? It pretty much destroys the reason for decursive. Doesn't take up a lot of space(no extra frames), and keeps your mouse from having to move to an extra spot.

4: Is it also possible to disable the extra boss hp counter with the gold dragon frame? It's getting clipped by warnings, and it does the same exact thing as the once you placed cleanly under your feetsies.

5: What are the pretty buttons under your mini-map?

6: Dear god, so many mini-map icons!

7: Have you played with buttonfacade/bartender at all? You'd be able to shrink/move/play with your actions bars. I fell in love with the versatility of bartender.....I almost want to make it's creator my lover.

i just have 2 suggestions that might make a huge difference in cleaning it up.

you have your own buffs and debuffs displayed twice. if you turn off the buffs/debuffs on icehud (i assume thats what you use for your health bars?) you can download satrina. satrina will let you position your own buffs/debuffs wherever you want. Since you aren't using the minimap, you can pull them further to the corner to give yourself more space in the middle.

my only other suggestion is just a personal preference.

around all of your add-ons you have a translucent grey box.  if you disable the box (especially on the addons you have in front of the icy-frame on the bottom) you might find that things look a smidge neater.


Oh. I guess one more. Are you using the space between the minimap and your buffs? if you aren't, you could slide the buffs over and increase the size of the chat box.


Wha add-on do you use to show your cooldowns? I need something like that.

My UI from last week....

was talking to embersz and ginjack this week about a new addon i havent tried yet, its called Deus Vox Encounters.. basically another raid encounter similar to BigWigs and DeadlyBossMods.. basically to sum it up in a nutshell, is it has timers, range boxes.. boss health frame.. and all sorts of sounds screen shakes color fades.. and lots of customizations .. OMG.. and let me give props for the DIRECTIONAL arrows who NEED to know where to run when shit happens, and a very AWESOME range box that tells you stuff like range 9-12 from "Ginjack" or whoever.. very sMexy.. here is a screenshot.. kinda messy cause im using both DBM and DXE
